about my work

MATERIALS, VINTAGE TEXTILES & IMPERFECTIONS

what kind of fabrics do you use?
i work with a mix of vintage and thrifted textiles (quilts, tablecloths, clothing) and sometimes pair those with new fabrics i’ve slowly + intentionally purchased over the years.

i carefully source materials for quality, feel, and interesting prints while trying to keep things as low-waste and sustainable as possible. i primarily use 100% cotton or high cotton % blends for the majority of my pieces.

all pieces made from thrifted fabrics have been thoroughly washed with sensitive laundry detergent.

a note on imperfections:
because many of my pieces are cut from vintage quilts and blankets, you may occasionally see subtle signs of age - like small snags, light wear, or carefully mended areas. i inspect every textile by hand, repair & reinforce what i can, and avoid anything with stains or damage that would affect wear or longevity. any remaining quirks are cosmetic only and are part of the character and history of the piece, not flaws!

SIZING, CUSTOMS & MADE-TO-ORDER

how do i know if something will fit me?
each listing includes flat measurements and fit notes whenever possible. i strongly recommend comparing those measurements to a similar item you already own and love. if you’re unsure, please reach out before purchasing—i'm happy to help you figure out the best fit!

do you take custom or made-to-order requests?
i do not offer custom work at the moment, but i do plan to in the future.

DESIGNS, PATTERNS & COPYRIGHT

can i use your designs to make items to sell?
no. all awgee designs, photos, and content are the intellectual property of AWGEE LLC and are for personal enjoyment only. please do not copy, reproduce, or sell items based directly on my designs without written permission. email: hello@awgee.com.

do you sell your patterns?
many of my patterns are self-drafted, and those patterns are not available for purchase. in some cases, i create and sell items on a small scale using patterns designed by other makers. when i do this, i receive permission (when required) and credit the original pattern designer in the product listing.
